I wish I could come up with some deep and meaningful reason why this page exists, but there honestly isn't one. I just thought it would look cool and I wanted to see if I could use <marquee> on <div>s.
The colored grid from the colored div page didn't remain when I copy-pasted my edit of the "mycontainer" script from W3Schools into marquees and I thought the result looked like crap, so I took screenshots of the rows with cat heads and make marquees out of the screenshot images instead. I might try again some other time with smaller <div>s.
Try zooming in and out for different animation speeds. Seriously, it's really cool how (at least in Firefox on a laptop) the zoom function affects the marquees' speed.
